Tims Black Tipped Shark

We got off to a bit of a slow start today but eventually we got out in the boat. We didn't go out very far because Tim suffered from a bit of sea sickness yesterday. We went a short distance from where we are staying and anchored up and put out the shark baits. It was a bit slow but Tim did eventually hook up with a nice Black Tipped shark. After chasing it about in the boat Tim managed to tire it out enough to get it in the boat for a photo shoot.

More Pics

More pics from yesterday, Tim features a little too prominently on this blog for my liking, the fact is, he is catching most fish at the moment and I just happen to be the one with the camera. Chris and I have caught fish to you know but, we just ain't bragging about it.

The Beast

Just eaten a nice meal from the Porgy and Snapper caught today washed down by a couple of glasses of pinot grigio. Feeling a bit tired from our busy day but just had to post this picture before I hit the sack. There will be more to follow but I thought you all should see this picture of Bandit Bayliss and his Barracuda .

A busy time

After a bit of a slow start we are now all catching fish. Between the fishing and photo opportunities it is going to be hard to keep this blog up to date, and then of course we are going to have to find time to eat and sleep.
Yesterday was magnificent in every way, lots of nice fish, a close encounter with a manatee, a tortoise just outside our villa, beautiful sunset, a scorpion in our villa and a mediocre meal cooked by me.

The Villa

After a very long day we settled into our Villa on Grassy Key near Marathon, Florida. It is a beautiful place with lizards, dragon flies and birds all around us. The villa itself is lovely, spacious, private and very comfortable .
